Please keep all doors and windows closed while the A/C is running.

 

Laundry

Please remove as much sand off clothing and towels as possible before placing in the washing machine or dryer.  Sand can be very damaging to these appliances. We greatly appreciate your assistance with keeping our appliances in great working order for all of our guests.

 

Please use the outdoor shower to rinse off in order to reduce the amount of sand brought into the house.

 

Do not sit on the furniture while wearing sun products.

 

No Garbage Disposal

Do not dispose of grease or crustacean shells (lobster, shrimp, etc.), food down the kitchen sink.

 

Septic Tank

No feminine products or hygiene wipes are to be flushed down the toilet. This house is on a septic system which can handle toilet paper and NOTHING ELSE.

 

Smoking

This is a non-smoking property. Please do not smoke in the house or on the property, including the deck areas.

 

Fireworks/Bonfire

No fireworks allowed on the property.  Please check with the local burn ban before having a bonfire on the beach.

 

Leave No Trace

Please follow the Leave No Trace laws.  Information can be found in multiple areas of the home and on this site.

 

Dunes

Please stay off the dunes.  There is no walking, climbing or storing beach items on dunes. 

 

Repairs

Are there any maintenance items that need our attention? In the event that you find something is broken, missing, or unusable, please send a quick text as soon as possible. We will do what we can to resolve the issue. This helps especially with small things that are difficult to see during inspections. If something were to break during your stay please leave a note on the kitchen island letting us know what happened so that we can be sure to have it replaced for the next guest. Document and report any unreported damages or maintenance needs.

 

Breaker Box

In the event that you need to access the breaker box, please contact the owner.

 

Propane Grill

Basic grilling utensils are stored in the kitchen.  An additional propane tank is available beside the grill. If you run out, please refill the tank at Scallop Cove. Keep the receipt and I will reimburse you!  PLEASE NOTE: We do NOT guarantee propane in the tank.

 

Cell Coverage

Cell coverage can be limited on the Cape.  If you need to make a

phone call, please feel free to us the house landline. The number is 850-735-0998.

 

Fire Extinguisher

There is one fire extinguisher in the house. It is located under the kitchen sink.
