Check-out Instructions
Check out time is 10:00 A.M. Eastern time
- Garbage pick-up is Saturday and Monday. Please take the trashcan to the end of the drive the night before pick up. Trash service sometimes comes early. Remove all garbage from the rental home (including items in the refrigerator and freezer).
- Please start a washer load of white towels used during your stay.
- Remove all bed sheets, pillowcases, comforters, and any blankets from the beds that have been used during your stay and place them at the foot of the bed. Please do not remove the mattress or pillowcase covers.
- Please run the dishwasher and put away all dishes, silverware, pots, pans and larger kitchen items. Do not leave any dirty dishes in the sink or any clean dishes in the dishwasher.
- If you have used the OVEN, please consider running the self-cleaning feature if extra cleaning is needed
- Clean and cover the grill. Clean grill tools and return them to their correct spot.
- Replace all furnishings to their original locations.
- Please set the A/C to 76 degrees. In winter 60 degrees.
- Shut and lock all doors and windows.
- Check under beds, in drawers, and closets for your personal items. Don’t forget chargers.
- Please log out of any personal internet accounts that you used during your stay (Netfix, Amazon, Hulu, etc). Please do this on each TV (logging out on one TV does not log you out on all TVs).
- Document and report any unreported damages or maintenance needs.
- On the morning of your departure, please take a moment to send us a message letting us know that you have checked out. Remember checkout time is no later than 10:00 AM EST.
**Failure to comply with these instructions will result in a loss of a portion of your security deposit.
